Come sew up some squares!

The nice folks who write Mason-Dixon Knitting have been collecting squares for the afghans for Afghans project, an unfortunately named but entirely sincere effort to show support and affection for the people of Afghanistan. My friend Amber has helped sew up squares on occasion, and she's gotten a big bundle of them for us to sew up this weekend. We can't do it all by ourselves, so please come help!

Friday night from 6-9pm, or Saturday afternoon from 12-3pm, bring a tapestry needle if you have one, any munchies or drinks you'd like to share, and your devotion to sewing up squares. If you'd like to knit a simple border, that'd be even more wonderful.

Hope to see you soon!

Gah! I know I said I was going to stop by the store this weekend, but I forgot that I would be buried in student papers. I have one minibreak today, and that's it. Soon, though!
