The younger generation just doesn't understand the sublime joy of throwing oversized radishes at people.
For those of you who may be confused: Tom refers to a swell spring break that he, Steve, another fellow named Jody, and I spent in the Ozarks at a farm belonging to Jody's...grandmother? In daytime hours we rode horses and regarded cows (one of which had the number "54" on it; Tom tells me I remarked "Hi, my name is #54, but my friends call me Heath"). By night we played ungodly amounts of Super Mario 3. I can't find a screenshot of the part of the game in which Mario sits looking sinister inside a giant sock, but I did find a picture of the creatures which we dubbed the Hateful Things.
