Ongoing Development

If you were walking near my apartment and heard a sigh of relief, that would be because "Arrested Development" was renewed. I didn't have such high hopes, since, in my experience, shows I love don't last very long; or if they do last more than one season, they get jerked around by the network; or it may be that the reason they lasted so long was because I didn't start watching until the fifth season was in production, but after that, things went all to hell.

I was way relieved too.

I strongly considered "And that's why you don't try to teach people lessons" or whatever the actual line is for my Williams Trivia team name.

That's good news. Considering that Fox has a tendency to crash and burn with good shows, and the shows with bad premises (The Swan, Obnoxious Fiance) end up being successful, I had my doubts as well.

Easily the funniest show on TV this year, which was a shock considering Ron Howard's involvement, plus who knew Jason Bateman could carry it off. I can't really imagine it ever attracting that big an audience, but hopefully it can last another season at least.
