Comments: The Tie Project, days 98 to 106

Before anybody asks, some of us prefer to believe that Francis has a transdimensional closet, bigger on the inside, and that when he opens the door in the morning (after the retina scan and the voice id), infinitely long closet rods slide soundlessly past him with outfit after outfit until he shouts the secret power word.

So no more questions about closet space.

I continue to be amazed by the combinations. And I'm glad you bought the shirt at Filene's. With or without the tie, it was bound to be a winner. No more holding out, please, on the too-good-to-pass-up shirts. The perfect tie will always be out there.

Sympathies on Celestine. Been there, done that. Too many times to count, but we just love animals and keep adopting the ones who wander up.

This is a great idea! I'm looking forward to seeing them all. The Pratt knot is a good easy to tie knot that you can use to mix it up a bit and you can learn
how to tie a pratt tie knot here

Whoa! Apt spam, advertising something relevant to the content of the blog entry? Consider my mind blown.

104 is the one that made me catch my breath in awe.

Oh how I wish there was a link on the left to all of the tie project posts all together. That would be tie-rific!

Oh how I wish there was a button on my keyboard for erasing bad puns I have typed.

Alas, neither of these things exist.

Well, you can click on the "Ties" link below any Tie Project post to go to the archives of all posts tagged "Ties". I probably ought to add the link to the left-hand column, though, you're quite right.

I am extremely enamored of that last tie.

Taxes aren't due until Thursday if you were lucky (?) enough to be stormed out.

Hm, I thought I'd already commented on this; I must have fallen prey to "Previewing is Not Posting" syndrome.

Anyhoo. Having already suggested a tie photomosaic, I'm going to up the ante: something that would also be cool *and* would require a bunch more work. I want to see a stop-motion film of you standing still as the tie-shirt combo you're wearing changes a few times a second.
