Comments: Dear Heaneyland

I had this idea a little while ago; it seems you've thought of it first! Kudos.

I was first going to tackle "who was the first person to start poetry", lend some insight into "sense of taste of a crab," and then come up with a "bird and crab joke." I have not yet done these things.

By the way, I have always loved your Holy Tango. Deeply, really. For years. Thank you.

I have been mulling your questions over.

Cheap answer to question one: Edgar Allan POE started POEtry. Ha ha ha ha! [Deep shame]

Cheap answer to question two: Crab has a taste?

Joke involving a bird and a crab: This was the best I could do.

A bird and a crab walk into a bar. They each order a beer. The bartender says, "We don't see too many birds and crabs in here." This is funny because the bar is actually filled with birds and crabs; the bartender is actually speaking sarcastically. The bartender honestly kind of hates the way his bar has suddenly become this bird-and-crab hangout, but he jokes anyway because it's good for tips. It was okay when it was just birds, but now all the crabs are keeping the rabbis away.
