Whimsy
I'm a member of the knitting group ASOF, and our fearless leader, Sheila Hansford, suggested that we knit "whimsies". I made a little avatar of myself, using the pattern that was in Interweave Knits a year or so ago.
It was so much fun! I'm planning to make more.

Ribbed for my pleasure
Hey! I finished knitting this fabulous sweater from designer Bonne Marie Burns, at Chicknits.com. I knitted it using beautiful hand-dyed yarn that I'm planning to carry at Yarnivore.
This was my first time putting a zipper into a sweater, but Ms. Burns had a terrific tutorial on her site. Yay! Success!
