Our own little NYC anti-voter conspiracy?
At my office today, we realized that none of us had received League of Women Voters brochures (warning .pdf link), or any of those official pre-election mailings about the candidates that we normally get in the couple of weeks before a big election. What gives?
Evil postal carriers? I've gotten all my normal junk mail, but no voter information pamphlets.
At least I know to VOTE ON LINE E for the Working Families Party.
PS -- If you live in NYC and you did get a brochure, could you let me know? I'd rather blame incompetence than conspiracy, really I would!

No, no brochures, but I haven't gotten one in years. Do they still even do that?

You're right! You're wicked observant. I got a**loads of c*** last year from everybody and nothing this year. Altho 'round the beginning of Sept. I did get my signed photo of Kerry and Edwards. I did get stuff from the Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats, but maybe that's bec. the evil postal worker wasn't hip to the initialism--they have an unassuming, nondirectmail like letterhead.
