Listen up

My short-lived attempt at posting an mp3 a week has long gone by the wayside, but I do still run across songs about which I think, hmmm, more people might enjoy hearing this. Or, in this case, I think that people might just think the concept is so frickin' weird that they cannot help but be curious about it. This is a song that was performed by the house band at the 2008 TED conference; that house band was led by the legendary Thomas Dolby, and this song (which features guitarist Kaki King) is a Cajun version of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love". Got all that? All righty then. Please enjoy "La Bombe d'Amour" (click through for download link).

It's the Cajun Zep cover I never knew I needed! Thanks.

omg. Thomas Dolby. Doing Led Zeppelin. Cajun-style. You're one "(featuring Margo Timmins)" away from me sitting in my house for the rest of the week with this on continuous loop.

I can see what they're doing there, but I really wish they wouldn't. Repost?
