Pluses and minuses

Jon linked me to a very funny puzzlecentric cartoon this morning. Unfortunately, there's a mistake in it. (But revealing it before you look at the cartoon would spoil the joke, so see the comments for that.)

I get "The Regbus". (I believe the cartoonist is misspelling YIN as YING.)

Well, also, "Lu" is the chemical symbol for, not the chemical "element" for, lutetium; and if in fact this is supposed to take place in the Victorian era, then lutetium is an anachronism anyway, as it wasn't named until six years after Victoria's death...
