Happy happy joy joy

This cartoon marks my 100th installment of Six Things (not counting guest strips)! I thought I'd celebrate the anniversary by turning off the Rant-o-Tron 3000 that powers this blog and being positive for a change.

Have you been listening to musician Mike Doughty? 'Cause he has this song called, "Thank You Lord For Sending Me the F Train", and YOU seem to have a love affair of sorts with it. Or maybe there's just some awesome party always goin' on in there?

And your wife...TOTALLY hot!

Damn, happy isn't any fun! Congratulations.

Isn't 100 episodes the threshold for big syndication dollars?

On the occasion of this happy milestone I'd like to, just this one time, gush sincerely. Your blog is without peer -- always entertaining, often thought-provoking -- and your "Six Things" consistently make me laugh aloud.

Now bring back the rude little elf.

Mona: More of a love/hate relationship, really, me and the F train. And yes, I am a Doughty fan, although I think his latest solo album is a little weak.

Toonhead: I shall return the gimlets to my eyes soon enough, have no fear.

Ellen: Yes, I plan to start paying myself royalties right away.

MisterTheToad: Thanks! A new Fizzywinkle strip is, in fact, in the works. Probably Wednesday or Thursday.

Or maybe today.

Any chance you'd share the recipe for the mocha cinnamon chocolate chip cookies? They sound great.

Sure! It's not a secret or anything, just a truly excellent recipe from Fine Cooking, which someone has posted here.
