Great moments in near-synchronicity

1) Lucretia Mott was an early suffragette.

2) David Bowie offered his song "Suffragette City" to the band Mott the Hoople, but they refused it. (Later they did record the Bowie composition "All the Young Dudes")

Coincidence? I think so.

I don't take no stock in dead people (as an old friend once said) - but with a middle name of 'Coffin' I reckon she was a tough bird.

Perhaps Coffin was a maiden name... I don't know, I'm just bored at work.
