If they try out a haggis flavor, I will probably resist

I eat a lot of oddball candy products for science, so I'm very excited about the prospect of curry-flavored KitKat bars (and lemon cheesecake, and saffron, and...mmmmmmmm). Of course, these delicacies aren't going to be offered in our boring old country, but fortunately, I know a corner store in the East Village that stocks lots of British candy, and I expect these will turn up there at some point.

I also see that BritDonald's is going to be offering a veggie burger made from Quorn, a meat substitute made from a vat-grown fungus. Despite approving of this concept in theory, I can probably do without that particular foodstuff.

Update: After Rose pointed out to me that the group behind the above link are kind of a bunch of kooks, I found this refutation of their claims.

Your link to info about Quorn is to the Center for Science in the Public Interest pages. I thought it should be mentioned that Michael Jacobson and CSPI are a bunch of kooks. It's one thing to be a voice of reason, and it's another to be a paranoid, neurotic freak.

Wow. You don't often see Fox News as refutation of a bunch of kooks.
